It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 11th International Conference on Recent Advances in Air and Space Technologies (RAST2026). 11th RAST conference will be held on May 13-15, 2026 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of NDU Turkish Air Force Academy. The conference will be a face-to-face event in Istanbul, Türkiye.
International Conference on Recent Advances in Air and Space Technologies (RAST) is held by the National Defence University, Turkish Air Force Academy at the international level biennially.
As in previous conferences, contributions to the 11th RAST Conference are expected from institutions such as the Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Industry andTechnology, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Turkish General Staff, Turkish Air Force Command, Presidency of Defence Industries, General Directorate of Mapping, General Directorate of Military Factories, TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute, TÜBİTAK Defence Industries Research and Development Institute, TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Research Center, as well as distinguished international universities.
RAST2026 is intended to be a forum for the exchange of recent research results and ideas in air and space technologies. It should be of interest to a wide range of participants from government agencies, relevant international institutions, universities, research organizations, and air and space companies, as well as media and the general public. Presentations are encouraged by international space agencies as well as the private sector.
The presentations will be given in English. Participants are invited to submit electronically full papers of their work, following the instructions available on the web page. It is planned that all accepted and presented papers will be published in the RAST2026 Proceedings on the IEEE Xplore platform, as in previous conferences.
After the RAST2026, the extended and enhanced versions of the selected papers will be considered for publication in the Journal of Aeronautics and Space Technologies (JAST).
We hope you will attend and contribute to the 11th International Conference on Recent Advances in Air and Space Technologies-RAST2026.

Topics RAST 2026 is intended to be a forum for the exchange of recent research results and ideas in air and space technologies with applications. It is expected to attract a wide range of participants from government agencies, relevant international organizations, universities, research organizations, space companies, the media, and the general public.
Topics: In general, contributions regarding all aspects of recent developments in space technologies are welcome. Papers may fall under, but not be limited to the following topics.

Special Sessions Special Sessions are sessions exploring novel experimental topics that extend the general conference themes. Each special session is formulated by expert researchers and gathers up to 6 speakers presenting key contributions to the session theme. All interested authors are entitled to propose a special session and submit contributions to the special sessions for review.
Participants of the conference are encouraged to organize special sessions (4-6 papers) in particular areas. The deadline for special session proposals is February 20, 2026.

Submission The official language of the conference will be English and all papers must be written and presented in English. The expected duration of the accepted contributed talks is 20 minutes. Papers should not exceed six pages (including figures).
RAST follows the IEEE Conference template by default. Authors must use the official template and strictly follow the guidelines detailed in the template.

Registration The authors who will make a presentation at the RAST2026 conference are required to register on the date April 12, 2026.
Other participants are also needed to register on the date April 12, 2026.
Registration includes lunch and coffee hours.
Registration fees are the same for presenters and listeners. One registration covers up to a maximum of 2 papers.
